If you are following a Weight Watchers plan these bagels come in at only 4 (Green), 3 (Blue), or 3 (Purple) Smart Points. They do not disappoint and you do not have to spend the entire day making them!
What are Air Fryer Bagels?
Air Fryer Bagels are simply bagels made in an air fryer! I love the crusty texture that they get when cooked in an air fryer. Unlike traditional bagels these bagels do not have to be boiled. You simply mix, shape, and cook your bagels, which means you could make them easily whenever a craving strikes without a lot of pre-planning!

Ingredients

- self-rising flour
- plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- beaten egg for egg wash *Optional
- sesame seeds or seeds of your choice *Optional
Instructions
These 2 ingredient bagels could not be easier to make!

- Add the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt to a medium bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until combined.
- Knead the dough on a generously floured surface for approximately 5 minutes.

- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and form each piece into a small rope. Secure the ends together to form a bagel shape.

- Preheat your air fryer to 280 degrees. Once heated, spray the air fryer tray with non-stick spray and place the bagels on the tray. Brush the bagels with the egg wash and sprinkle with the sesame seeds, if desired. Bake for 15 minutes. The tops will be slightly golden.
- Serve warm as is or toast if preferred.
Serving Suggestions
These bagels can be enjoyed with your favorite nut butter or a light cream cheese! You can split them and serve them warm straight out of the air fryer but I prefer to toast them for some extra crispiness!
For a real treat and some healthy fats serve them with some organic grass-fed butter or mashed avocado sprinkled with pink Himalayan salt!
Can You Toast Bagels in the Air Fryer?
Yes! In my opinion it takes a little extra effort, but it can be done! Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees. Place the split bagels on the tray and air fry for 4 minutes or to your toasted preferences.

Can I Make 2 Ingredient Bagels in the Oven?
You can definitely adapt this recipe for the oven. Follow the first 3 steps above and then preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and place the bagels on a greased, parchment-lined sheet pan. Once preheated, place the sheet pan on the top rack of the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.

Storage Tips
Air Fryer Bagels are best when consumed the day they are prepared, especially since they are a small batch, but they can be stored for 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They can also be split, wrapped individually, and placed in the freezer. Remove and toast when ready to enjoy!

Cooks Tips and Notes
- You can easily make your own self-rising flour for this recipe yourself by combining 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 2 teaspoons of baking powder and 3/4 teaspoon of kosher salt.
- To ensure the correct texture for the bagel dough, be sure to discard any excess liquid from the Greek yogurt before combining it with the flour. The dough should be slightly sticky. If it is overly sticky add a bit more flour, a sprinkle at a time.

Am I use a dough hook for 5 min instead of kneading?
I think it would work fine!
These are amazing! Truly delicious, soft andnyet crunchy. I just toasted one and enjoyed it with cream cheese and smoked salmon! Thank you!

So I made these bagels today, mine are a bit smaller than what’s pictured. When you made yours did you use just one cup of flour or doubled it? I made two separate batches of these bagels. Ami making my rope too long before connecting the two ends? Waiting to sample these until tomorrow morning. Thank you.
